Armenia’s geographical location is very convenient for communication with countries across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the CIS. Many international airlines operate flights to Yerevan, with direct flights available from cities such as Athens, Beirut, Doha, Dubai, Istanbul, Moscow, Paris, Rome, Saint Petersburg, Tbilisi, Tehran, Vienna and others. Numerous connecting flights are also available through these cities. The international airport Zvartnots is situated 7.2 km southwest of the capital Yerevan. Transfers from the airport to Yerevan are available by the regularly operating public bus (N100) and taxi. Alternatively, you can download the YandexGo or GG Transportation Service apps from the App Store or Google Play.

Visa

Citizens of the European Union member states, the USA, CIS states and Iran do not need entry visas. Citizens of other countries are advised to contact the nearest Armenian Consulate or Embassy to inquire about visa regulations for your country. You should make your visa application well in advance. If needed, the Organizing Committee will be happy to send official letters of invitation to all participants. The Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs invites you to apply for a visa online at http://evisa.mfa.am.

Weather

Autumn is the best season in Armenia. In September, the weather is usually warm and pleasant, but can be variable; the average temperature is 20o–25oC.
