Outline of the 1^st International Conference on Heusler Compounds (ICHC-2027)

Nowadays, the family of Heusler compounds consists of more than 1000 members and enjoys rapidly growing attention due to a number of exceptional properties of fundamental and practical interest they exhibit. The diversity of effects observed in Heusler compounds makes it difficult to gather scientists interested in recent developments in this exceptional class of materials. The aim of the 1 st International Conference on Heusler Compounds (ICHC) is to offer a platform for the exchange of ideas and expertise between researchers beyond their disciplinary boundaries.

ICHC welcomes participation from scientific and engineering communities interested in theoretical, experimental, and technological research and development of Heusler compounds and related materials. The main topics of the Conference include (but are not limited to): crystal, magnetic, and electronic structures of Heusler compounds; thermoelectric Heusler compounds; Heusler compounds with exotic magnetic properties; multifunctional Heusler compounds; Heusler-based shape memory alloys; design of novel Heusler compounds, etc.

ICHC provides the interconnecting links and general platform for fruitful discussion of magnetic, thermoelectric, magnetocaloric, and magnetoelastic properties in Heusler compounds and related materials, which have been discussed so far in the framework of sections at dissimilar conferences and symposia such as International Conferences on Magnetism (ICM), Joint European Magnetic Symposia (JEMS), International and European Conferences on Thermoelectrics (ICT & ECT), International Conferences on Solid State Cooling, Heating and Energy Harvesting (THERMAG conference series), International Conferences on Ferromagnetic Shape Memory Alloys (ICFSMA), etc.
